This Star Trek movie, helmed by genius director J.J. Abrams, follows James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) enlisting in Starfleet Academy, his first meeting with Spock the Vulcan (Zachary Quinto), and their battles with timetraveling Romulans from the future.

Star Trek Movie with Leonard Nimoy as Old Spock

A new cut of the Star Trek movie trailer has been released. But there is a real surprise at the end of this latest trailer: we have a glimpse of Leonard Nimoy as old Spock! There is indeed a time travel twist in the plot of the movie and actor Leonard Nimoy who epitomized Spock in the original series is making a cameo in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie.

It's strange to see Spock without his Starfleet uniform, but I suppose that Starfleet has its retirees too!
